We asked ourselves why are we chewing petroleum plastic in our mouths combined with fake test tube sugar and with crazy unpronounceable synthetic chemicals? Have you wondered why every big bad chewing gum only says “Gum Base” as an ingredient? That’s because the industry does not want to tell you that it is basically plastic and left over oil from oil refineries. Yikes! Why would you put that into your mouth?

Many modern gum bases use synthetic polymers like polyvinyl acetate (a plastic also found in glue) and styrene-butadiene rubber (often used in tires), along with other food-grade plastics and rubbers ---WE DO NOT.

Remember, it’s not about being a “granola kid” or “granola parent”. We just wanted to bring great longest-lasting, real gum to our mouths.
